This is one of my personal favorite photos that you'll find hanging on the wall of the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, just inside the front doors. The photo was shot on 4/20/47 by John Fales who lived around Baltimore, Md. He was a race fan and sometimes race reporter for Maryland events. He also was a pretty good photographer with his 4x5 camera. The winner that day was Ted Horn #1.
