Located just outside York, PA, York US30 was one of the premier dragstrips in the country. In 1965, US30 held the largest one day drag race in the nation by the hosting the Super Stock Nationals.
The black and white photos that follow were found in the same Jere Stahl collection featured in the Heavy Metal - Super Stock Legends feature in this website. They were scanned from a number of photographer's proof sheets. They give us a look at the day in the life of this outstanding facility. Unfortunately, it is unknown who the photographer was, or the date they were taken.
