1955 - Class A Sportsman/Modified
May
15 - Scheduled opening, but track and facility not yet ready.
22 - Track found in violation of Carroll county Blue Law. Armed Sheriff
Deputies rope off the grounds and turn away drivers, owners, officials and
fans.
30 (Mon) - Marlett Naill, Bud Rohrbaugh
Announced that no more racing until further notice.
August
26 (Fri) - Dave Leppo, Troy Funck, Charlie Culp, Diz Dean
Announced that starting 8/31, the Bowling Green Auto Racing Association
will sanction racing on Wednesday nights.
