NOTE: If you just wish to browse the database, you do not need to register.

However, in order to contribute new track links, you do need to register. You will then be able to submit new links, or go back and edit any of your previous submissions.

Why do I have to register to submit links?

The tracks are categorized by:

Tracks still visible*
Tracks still partially visible*
Tracks no longer visible
Fairground Tracks
Tracks currently in operation

These track links are found by using the website Terra Server-USA, where you can check out satellite photos of your house, famous places, just about anything! Terra Server is a fairly easy website to use. Just follow the instructions as posted and you should get the hang of it pretty quickly. You're given the options to zoom in or out, and to move in every direction to get the best possible view.

*Due to privacy and security issues, the photos shown in these satellite photos are several years old. The date of each photograph is displayed above each photo.

It should be noted that these tracks listed as "visible" or "partially visible", were visible at the time of the photo and not necessarily still visible today.

IMPORTANT: To best view these aerial photos, TVR suggests that you choose either the Medium or Large Image Size Option since it is not always possible to center the image. By default, the Image Size is set to small.
