 Jimmy Packard in the Carl Gehlhausen Offy. Unfortunately, Jimmy would be killed soon after this picture. I saw Jimmy twice at Hatfield in midgets, once on the half mile asphalt and once on the third mile dirt. Both times he put on a spectacular show to win both features. He won on asphalt in the Ken Brenn midget and dirt in the Jake Vargo midget were he started last. 1960 was not a kind year, Thomson, Bryan, Herman and Packard. Nise Photo |
