Leroy's Scrapbook
1950's

Testing the car one evening at Bowling Green, not in a race, I rolled the car over. I had a high speed miss in the motor, which I fixed and the car was running real good. I went into the 1st turn wide open when the right rear wheel tore off. The back bumper dug into the track and over the nose I went. The car slid on the right corner of the roof around the turn and fell over on the right side on the straightway, coming out of the 2nd turn. The car was facing the right way when it stopped, so the car had made a half a turn on its top.
