started TheVintageRacer.com back in 1999, it
quickly took on a life of it's own. The
outstanding response from many great
contributors began to flow in. However, our
situation changed and finding the time to
give this site the attention it deserved became
an issue. Rather than just let it sit and
"collect dust", we decided to make the site
interactive and created the
