When I started TheVintageRacer.com back in 1999, it quickly took on a life of it's own.  The outstanding response from many great contributors began to flow in.  12 years ago, devoting the time it took to keep continually updating the site was not a problem and a welcomed labor of love.  I've enjoyed every minute and made a lot of new good friends in the process.

However, my situation changed and my finding the time to give this site the attention it deserved became an issue.  Rather than just let it sit and "collect dust", I decided to make the site interactive and created the Member's Section, where anyone sharing a common interest in the history of motorsports   Along with areas to discuss any type of racing that interests you, or share photos or files, you'll also find Free Vintage Racer's Classifieds, the Satellite Photo Section, the By the Numbers Section, and a Driver/Car Information Wanted research section.  Whether your interests involve racing on dirt, on asphalt, on water, or in the air, there are numerous forums dedicated to every and any type of motorsports.

The Member's Section is an forum which in addition to the features listed above, also offers the Member's Media Gallery where registered members can create their own media galleries. There you can create albums containing photos, videos, or audio files, where they can then be shared with other registered members.  Registration is free and easy.  We invite you to join in and enjoy the ride!  If you love the history of motorsports, feel free to consider this your own do-it-yourself website!
