Dick shot these photos on the 14th & 15th of February, 1994. This was not a good time period for NASCAR. Veteran racer Neil Bonnett lost his life in a practice accident just a few days before (2/11/94).  Several of the cars in the following pages failed to qualify for the '94 event.  Sterling Marlin was this year's Daytona 500 winner.
