Can You Identify This Central PA Racing Legend? |
|
As is the case for most any place where a
racecar is stored and worked on, you'll usually find a group of young
"wannabe's" hanging around, dreaming about the days when they'll
grow up to be race car drivers. Racer Chris Miller's service station was
no exception. We're not sure of the exact year, but the cars in the
background should give you some idea. Late 50's, early 60's?
His smile hasn't changed any. Got an idea who it is yet?
He's raced and won in most every type of dirt car there is... Sprints, Midgets, Modifieds, Late Models, Sportsman, etc.
He's still racing very competitively today... Most of the guys he's racing now weren't even born yet when he started racing. Got it figured out yet? Nope... It's not Smokey, or Kauffman, but they all had many a great race together. Give up yet? Okay... click here |
